Dear readers,
You may have recently noticed the addition of a PayPal donation link in the left sidebar as well as the addition of a donation link at the end of each article. This is part of a new strategy for financially supporting this site.
It does cost money to operate the site, and I believe God has bigger plans for further expanding the reach and audience of BrittGillette.Com. In the past, I’ve funded the site with personal funds and the small trickle of Google ad revenue derived from the advertisementss hosted on the site. However, I believe God is now calling me to pursue the goal of operating this ministry on a full-time basis. To do so, I will need the consistent financial support of a large number of readers on a regular basis. Therefore, I’ve decided to add a permanent link for accepting donations.
I do not, and never will, charge fees for the material on this website. It is the goal of BrittGillette.Com to offer informative articles on bible prophecy and preach the Gospel of Christ across the World Wide Web free of charge. Google Ads will continue to supplement funding of the site, but ultimately, it will be the collective decision of many contributers as to how far the boundaries of this site will expand.
As the sole source of income for our growing family (baby Gillette is expected in late September), God has given me the responsibility of providing the basic necessities of life for our family. Until those basic needs are met, the site will remain a part-time endeavor. In the meantime, I have faith that God will direct our family to accomplish His purposes.
He knows the needs of this site, and He will provide them:
“So don’t worry about these things, saying, ‘What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?’ These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.” Matthew 6:31-33 (NLT)
I do not know when God will enable me to pursue this ministry full-time, if ever. It may be in as short as few weeks, or it may take as long as several years to build the necessary foundation for support. But until that day arrives, I will continue to work on:
1) Expanding the available content on this site.
2) Answering reader questions regarding salvation and bible prophecy, as well as offering sound biblical advice.
3) Freely distributing new content across the web on sites such as Rapture Ready, Rapture Alert, Millennium Ark, eZineArticles, and many more.
I continue to be amazed by the way God uses this site on a daily basis. Approximately sixty percent of the site’s visitors are first timers, and more than half of those arrive from a search engine. What that tells me is that this site is reaching beyond the boundaries of the Christian bible prophecy community and presenting the Gospel to many who may have never before heard the Good News about Jesus Christ.
